|
|
I have installed Office 2007 successfully but now I get error message and IE shuts down whenever I try to get into base ops in Oracle.
I can bring up IP5 and work in that. This is will work for me because I spend most of time in IP5. However, I do need to use base ops occasionally.
Any advice?

I am also receiving the same error message each time I attempt to log into Oracle. The error message puts the blame on JAVA. Since my job is almost 100% in the apps, this is a major issue for me.

Solution (just posted to the Migration FAQ):
Q: I just installed Office 2007, and now Internet Explorer crashes when I try to access Banner, AIS, and ADI - what can I do?
A: Open Internet Explorer and
Select Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
Under Browsing, uncheck the box that says "Enable third-party browser extensions."
You will be able to access Banner, AIS, and ADI, but third-party extensions like the Google toolbar will no longer work.
