Do not be confused by the add an endnote listed under references. (It is unfortunate that this is the text use.)
The URL below has all the information you will need to make Endnote work. You will see the Endnote toolbar under Add-Ins after you have followed the steps outlined in the FAQ file.

I use EndNote X1 and did not have to do anything - it just showed up as its own tab. It also shows up as a separate button under the References tab.

I had a user with Endnote 8 installed that, after upgrading to Office 2007, they were unable to open Endnote library files. This didn't seem related much but I tried the fix anyway and it didn't help, so I downloaded updates through the Endnote program, hoping that would patch it. Does anyone else have experience with this and did that resolve the problem?
