With Archive Manager being designed as a massive data repository, it can be easy to lose messages as time goes by.

One of the most prominent tools in Archive Manager is the search tool and the more you know about it and the more comfortable you are using it, the happier your archive world will be.

The search feature is very prominent and provides many ways to locate items. Use the tabs along the top to enter various search criteria.

An important thing to note is that when you create a search, Archive Manager remembers your search criteria, so that if you enter additional search criteria you are ADDING to the previous search. It's necessary to click the Clear link or click the Email Search item on the left side to start over. Cumulative searches narrow the focus more and more so you can find yourself with zero results pretty fast.
