 An aparent conflict exists between MSO2007 and Internet Native Banner - the web application that delivers Student Information.
I loaded MSO2007 and was then unable to open any internet native Banner session at http://ozone.ohsu.edu/itg-isis/banner_instances.htm.(the INB links).
Normally, clicking an INB link will start a Java Applet screen that will load the banner session. After I the MSO2007 install, however, IE generates a generic error (IE has detected an error and must close...) with the following details:

 To troubleshoot:
I re-installed my Jinitiator (1.3.1.26)
Uninstalled my Java client (v 1.4.2_06)
I still could not open Banner through IE
After I uninstalled MSO2007 I was able to connect to Banner again.
I reinstalled MSO2007, reinstalled my Jinitiator, loaded IE7 (I know - unsupported, but a coworker has this working with MSO2007) but it didn't resolve MY issue.
THEN I loaded Mozilla Firefox - I am ABLE to connect through Firefox but NOT IE!
2 coworkers have loaded MSO2007 and were able to resolve the initial trouble they had, but I have not been able to run MSO2007 and Banner INB through IE with it loaded. I will continue to troubleshoot this, but wanted to alert the group to this issue.

i don't have access to banner, but i have office 2007 loaded, and clicked on the link you provided, and was able to load the various apps to the login screens.
i'm using ie 6.0.2900.2181
i have Jinitiator 1.3.1.9, 1.3.1.21 and 1.3.1.26 and
i have JRE 1.4.1 and 1.4.2
after you installed office 2007, did you also install all the updates and patches from the ms office 2007 website?
